Pantoprazole, also known as Protonix is a medication that is most commonly prescribed for the treatment of peptic ulcers and acid reflux. This medication is a proton pump inhibitor and it decreases acid in the stomach.
Just like all other proton pump inhibitors, Pantropozole is able to inhibit the pumps in the stomach lining that are responsible for secreting acid. The effects of this medication tend to last for about a day, so it should be taken once every 24 hours for optimal effectiveness.
Some bodybuilders suffer from severe acid reflux when using Trenbolone Acetate or Trenbolone Enanthate. Oral steroids can also cause acid reflux for some individuals. Bodybuilders tend to use Pantropazole to counter acid reflux if over the counter compounds end up not being effective at relieving their symptoms.
The typical dose for Pantoprazole is 40mg per day. The most common side effects caused by this medication are headaches, diarrhea, and stomach pain.
